Hi friends! Happy New Year! It’s 2022! We are closing up our time here in Guatemala, and it has been oh so bitter sweet. Today is our last full day here, and honestly, I have had a hard time saying goodbye. I could definitely see myself returning to this beautiful place. I would say that one word to sum up my time in Guatemala would be gratitude. 

I cannot wait to post the pictures that I have been able to capture of what God is doing in Guate. This experience is one I will treasure. The time we got to be in Guatemala will forever be cherished. I thank God for growing me and bringing me back into alignment with Him. Though there were some hard times, that made the good times even sweeter. Mission days have turned into every day. While during the week it was scheduled, the Lord taught us a heart for His people at all moments.

The Lord is walking me through silence!! For the past two months, the Lord walked me through silence from music. I only "listened" to music in corporate worship! Now, in South Africa, He is walking me through silence from home! I might even ask others to write blogs for me so that I am technology free for two months! Just walking with open hands, ready for what the Lord has in store! 

We are about to begin travel day to South Africa!! After four plane rides, we will arrive in Jeffreys Bay on January 16th! 

Prayer would be greatly appreciated! Some prayer requests are

• For travel day!!

• For us to adjust well to the time zone in Africa

• For health all across the whole squad

• And for us to continue to lean into what the Lord has for each of us

God is good, all the time. All the time, God is good!
