My name is Katelyn Powell! but feel free to call me KJ! I am from the southern state of Mississippi! We are a little country down here! 😉 I grew up in Petal, MS and attended public schools! I am the middle child of a blended family of seven! I have two older sisters, and two younger brothers! yep! told ya I was in the middle! bahahahaha

– I have been out of country once! to China! (so pretty!)
– I enjoy calligraphy !
– I love singing, especially worship songs
– I work at a coffee shop called PJ’s!
I first heard about the World Race (WR) through a local teacher that went in 2015! From the first time I heard about the trip, I wanted to go. But it was not time… UNTIL NOW !! God has been and continues to prepare me for not only this trip, but also life after this trip! I’ll probably say this soooo many times throughout this blogging experience but, y’all GOD IS SO GOOD!!! You will read bits of my testimony in the blogs! and I can’t wait to tell y’all how God is moving in my life, the lives of my teammates, the lives of those we minister to, and the lives of those we are joining in ministry!
